Wesley Dusen

Wesley Robert Rob Van Dusen Jr. resident of Fairfax, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He was 44.

Rob was born January 23, 1966 in Hominy, Oklahoma, the son of Wesley Robert Van Dusen Sr. and Joyce K. Benson Van Dusen Chapman. He was a 1985 graduate of Ralston High School. He proudly served his in United States Armys 3rd Armored Division known as the Spearhead, stationed in Germany . He was married to Angela Kelley on September 2, 1986 in Ralston, Oklahoma. In earlier years Rob was employed as an oil field worker. His enjoyments included his children and his grandchild. He was an avid OU football fan and other enjoyments included fishing, hunting, being on the river, playing pool and telling stories.

He is survived by his wife, Angela one son, Cody Van Dusen of Pawnee one daughter, Brittany Van Dusen of Hominy one granddaughter, Raelynn Hopper his father, Wesley Van Dusen and his wife, Joanna, of Oglesby, Oklahoma his mother, Joyce Chapman of Fairfax one brother, Tom Bugsy Van Dusen of Port Ludlow, Washington two half sisters, Crystal Van Dusen and Lindsey Van Dusen, both of Oglesby a stepbrother, Josh Banning of Norfolk, Virginia one stepsister, Heath Jones of Bartlesville his special friend, Robin Burger of Blackburn, Oklahoma four cousins that he was raised with, Cheryl McDaniel, Jim Buckner, Joe Buckner and John Buckner his aunt Deanna Buckner numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by her stepfather, Harold Chapman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the Ralston Middle School Gymnasium. Arrangements are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

Casket bearers are Jay Badley, Josh Banning, Toby Mashburn, Sam L. McKinney, Roan Brazee, Scott Hatfield, Kirby Yates and Gabe Graham. Honorary casket bearers are Dr. James Graham, Leon Hendrix, Mike Footracer, Andy Weston, Jeff McInturf, Don Abbott, Daryl Looney and Butch Kelley.
