Suzanne Beree

Suzanne “Sue” Beree was born to Ralph and Pansy Beree on March 11, 1932, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She died on May 29, 2022, in Tulsa, Okla.

Sue graduated from Fairfax High School in 1950 then went to Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha from 1950-1954. She received her Master’s Degree from University of Tulsa in 1962. She taught physical education in the Tulsa Public Schools for 32 years, retiring in 1986.

She enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and several foreign countries.

Sue is survived by three nieces: Jackie Collins and husband Michael; Shawn Smith and husband Monte; Devon Holiman and husband Bill; one nephew, Micah Beree and wife Karin; and five great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother John; and her partner Virginia Burlingame.
