Sherry Phipps

Sherry Lynn Crenshaw Phipps, 48 of Fairfax, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 10, 2010.
She was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on August 28, 1962. Sherry graduated from Fairfax High School in 1980. She was married to Tim Mather, of which two children were born, Derek and Shane Mather.
Sherry enjoyed reading, watching movies, family time and traveling. She also enjoyed collecting rocks, and had an extensive collection. Sherry loved getting dressed up and going out to eat and she especially loved chocolate. The last three months of her life were enjoyed knowing a wonderful friend, Jack Bush and his daughter, Taylor. She was extremely happy because she had finally found the love of her life.
She is survived by her sons, Derek and Shane her parents, Jack and Norma Crenshaw one brother, Rick Crenshaw and his wife, Vicki, all of Fairfax, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Jack Bush and Taylor, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at New Hope Christian Fellowship with Pastor Bill Bray officiating.
