Roger Green

Roger Dale Green, owner and operator of the Ralston Corner Café, passed away at his home in Fairfax, Okla. on Saturday night June 30, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was 67 years of age.

He was born to Larry and Vera (Gates) Green on November 24, 1950 in Winnfield, Louisiana. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty during the Vietnam Era and he reenlisted during Desert Storm.

He and Cindy (Morgan) Green were married on April 28, 1985 and made their home in Texas and later moved to the Masham community south of Ralston until recently when they moved to Fairfax.

Roger was a member of the American Legion Post 333 Ralston, Okla. and the Grayhorse Masonic Lodge of the Fairfax community. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing carpenter work; camping, hunting and the outdoors; playing his guitar and singing; as well as spending time with man's best friend, his dogs.

Roger leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Cindy Green; one son, Roger L. Green (Lisa) of Mansfield, Texas; two daughters, Amanda Kincaid of Ralston and Victoria Green of Gladewater, Texas; two brothers, Terry Green (Michelle) of Henderson, Kentucky and Steve Green also of Kentucky; two sisters, Diane (Charles) Renkema of Masham, Okla. and Lori (Tony) Grillo of Hohenwald, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Austyn Marshall, Rylee Kincaid (His Sunshine), Preston Green, Korbin Sanford, Khristian Jolliff and Janee Davis; many nieces and nephews, and a host of patrons who were all his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Vera Green.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Masham Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Wagner officiating. Burial will follow immediately in the Masham Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangement are under the care of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

Casket bearers will be Larry Dooley, Terry Dooley, Roger Green, John Porter, Kevin Burch, Bob Cox, Kojack Holloway and Josh Colclazier.
