Pauline Ada Hunt Reed, 82, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her home in Yale, OK.
Pauline was born on June 6, 1930 in Sallisaw, OK to Leo B. and Maudie Belle Scott Gann. She moved to Fairfax at an early age, member of the Assembly of God Church, was a caregiver for a number of years, also working at the Fairfax Hospital and had worked at Jumps.
Pauline loved to work outdoors taking care of her flowers and had continued to mow her own yard until last year. Her most important passion was her children and grandchildren.
Pauline married Harold Red Hunt on June 10, 1951 in Fairfax. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 Sisters Lorene, Lill, Ora and Ann. 2 Brothers Jess and Floyd. 2 Sonsinlaw Larry Lewis and Buddy McKinney. DaughterinlawCrystal Hunt.
Pauline is survived by her children Jerry Hunt, Sherrie Lewis both of the home, Sharon McKinney of Fairfax, Mary Jo and Dennis Robinson of Ponca City, Paula and Larry Dooley of Ralston, and Ray Hunt of Fairfax. 1 SisterWillis Hood of Fairfax. 24 grandchildren, 45 greatgrandchildren and 11 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randell Newby officiating. Interment followed in the Fairfax Cemetery. Casket bearers were Ryan Hunt, Matt Hunt, Bud McKinney, Travis Burch, Eric Burch, Chris Thorngren, Jim Ed Mashburn and Joe Buckner. Honorary Casket Bearers were SGT Joseph S. McKinney and Jordan Berryman.
Services were under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax, OK.
