Helen Nadine Elsberry

Helen Nadine Elsberry, former resident of the Fairfax community, passed Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Stillwater Medical Center. She was 85.

Nadine was born February 24, 1925 at Fairfax, the daughter of Harry Faust and Anna Morton Faust. She was a graduate of Fairfax High School. She was married to Alfred Lee Elsberry on May 22, 1948 at Pawnee, Oklahoma with the couple making their lifelong home at Fairfax. She was a member of the First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax.

She is survived by her two sons, Max Elsberry and wife, Lynn, of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Steve Elsberry and wife, Annie, of Pawhuska one sister, Billie Ann Mounts of Pawhuska 5 grandchildren, Heather Mashburn Tillman, Clark Elsberry, Jill Elsberry, Marianne Elsberry Austin and Zach Elsberry 5 great grandchildren, Blayne Mashburn Tillman, Henry Austin, Elizabeth Austin, Cordelia Tillman and Luke Elsberry. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Alfred in 1998 one son, David in 1993 two sisters, Louise Elsberry and Sue Gilcrease.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the First Osage Baptist Church in Fairfax with Rev. George Weston presiding. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction to the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
