Michael Scott Bartlett, age 37, of Ralston, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates on Friday, August 4, 2023. He left this world from Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
He was born December 27, 1985, in Pawnee, the son of Michael Gary Bartlett and Carla Moore. He soon became affectionately known as "Scott" Bartlett and was a little spoiled growing up or at least until becoming a big brother to sisters Mercedes and Deborah. He attended Woodland Schools where he was known as "Big Daddy" #72 on the football field and throughout the Fairfax community. After graduating high school in 2004, he attended OSU in Stillwater for a time.
Scott lived and worked in Tulsa briefly before moving back to his hometown of Ralston. Later, he worked as a member of Pipeliners Local Union 798, working with his father Pepper and brother Tyler in the Petroleum Industry. His job travels took him to destinations across the U.S. allowing him to experience beautiful and interesting sites along the way. He also ran into old school friends in different states while working on the pipeline.
His enjoyments in life revolved around family gatherings, fishing on the Arkansas and listening to his favorite Rock music. He was an avid drummer and sharp pool shooter.
Scott will be lovingly remembered by his father and stepmom, Michael & Carla (Hendricks) Bartlett of Ralston; mother Carla Moore of Tulsa; two sisters: Mercedes (Jordan) Brandenburg of Ralston and Deborah Halverson of Wisconsin; three brothers: Tyler (Mary) Hillsberg of Ralston, Josh (Lauren) Hillsberg of California and Tommy Dean (Katelyn) Hillsberg of Pawhuska; maternal grandparents Walter & Edna Brown both of Fairfax. He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and life-long friends.
Scott joined in heaven his paternal grandparents, Cecil & Barbara Bartlett and step-grandma Willia Mae "Billye" Brown.
A Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the Riverside Cemetery in Ralston with Russ Hughes officiating. Pallbearers are Tyler Hillsberg, Josh Hillsberg, Tommy Hillsberg J.T. Bartlett, Patrick Bartlett, Anthony Alfonso and Chris Bonner. Honorary bearers are Josh McAnally, Jeremy McAnally, Wade McAnally and Marc Brandenburg. Arrangements are in the care of Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home, Fairfax.
