Mary Lou Pierce
Mary Lou Bradfield Pierce, a long time resident of Fairfax, died June 17, 2012. She was 82.
Mary Lou was born August 27, 1929 in DeNoya, Oklahoma, the daughter of Claude Orville Bradfield and Jessie Arlene Warman Bradfield. She received her education in the Webb City and Shidler schools, and graduated from Shidler High School with the class of 1947.
On November 21, 1948, she was united in marriage to Leland L. Pierce in Shidler, Oklahoma. To this union, one daughter, Jennica Pierce Drebenstedt was born. Mary Lou worked as a secretary. She was employed at the Jackson Insurance Agency in Fairfax for thirtytwo years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fairfax.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Jennica Pierce Drebenstedt and husband, Roy of Fairfax two very special grandsons, Robert Drebenstedt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Michael Drebenstedt and wife, Kristin, of Fairfax and three great grandchildren, Andres, Kelsey and Kylie.
She was preceded in death by her parents one brother, Robert Bradfield and sister, Dorothy Coon.
A graveside service will be held at the Fairfax Cemetery Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Pastors George Weston and Ty Curry of The First Christian Church will officiate. Casket bearers will be Michael Drebenstedt, Robert Drebenstedt, Gabe Graham, Mark Carter, Billy Reddick, and Andres Barden Zapata.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
