Marvin Berle Wilson Marvin Berle Wilson, thirteen year resident of Fairfax, passed away Monday morning, March 16, 2009 at the Ponca City Medical Center. He was 74. Marvin was born September 4, 1934 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Doug Wilson and Lenoise Dillard Wilson. He was a graduate of Castroville, California High School. Marvin entered the United Stated Navy in February 1953 and served a tour of duty in Korea. He was honorably discharged in January of 1956. He then returned to San Jose, California, moving to Lincoln, California in 1977 and then to Fairfax in 1997. Marvin was a professional guide and hunter and was a member of the American Coonhound Association. His enjoyments were hunting and fishing and was known as a prankster and jokester. Marvin was always good to stay in touch with all his friends and acquaintances throughout the years. He is survived by two sons, Shane Wilson, Wheatland, California and Greg Wilson, Lincoln, California; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah, Katie, Douglas, Billy Joe, Hali, Dakota and Daniel; one great grandchild, Kimber; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene Stamp Wilson; one daughter, Kimberly McGraw; two sisters, Cecil Yvonne Shepard and Phyllis Langley; one brother, Billy Wilson. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Fairfax Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Taylor of the First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax, presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home.
