Marian Mcnamara

Marian McNamara, 91 years of age, devoted wife and mother, dedicated Christian servant and talented church organist, passed away at Fairfax Manor nursing home on May 24, 2013. God, family, friends and music filled her humble and generous soul.

She will be missed by her surviving children, Roger and Pat Welch of Fairfax Tom and Sue Mikesell of Craig, CO and Michael McNamara of Fairfax grandchildren, Kyle Welch, Erin Reed, Monica Woods, and David Reed along with several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Marian was the only child of Paul and Ruth Ullrich, born July 21, 1921 in Almena, Michigan. She gradutated from Paw Paw High School in Paw Paw, MI, and then Parsons Business School in Kalamazoo, MI. She worked as a secretary until her marriage to Robert McNamara in 1945. Following the death of her husband, she contentedly lived out the remainder of her life in Oklahoma under the tender care of Dr. James Graham, hospital staff, family, and friends.

Interment alongside her husband will take place in Michigan at a later date.
