Kathy Hurst

Kathy Jean Hurst, Fairfax resident died Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Fairfax. She was 44 years old.


Kathy was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma on September 26, 1966 the daughter of Gary David Hurst and Patsy Sue Phillips. She worked at cleaning houses and had many friends who enjoyed her work. She enjoyed fishing and getting out and riding around in the fresh air to take in the beautiful scenery. Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends and her presence will be greatly missed.


She is survived by her mother, Patsy Phillips of Fairfax stepfather, Leon Hendrix of Fairfax brothers, Scott Phillips of Fairfax, Bimbo Hurst, Gary Hurst and Leroy Hurst all of Booneville, Arkansas one sister, Fern Hurst of Wichita, Kansas uncles, Duane Ramsey, Norman Phillips, Dale Macanally and Richard Hurst and one aunt, Darlene Hurst.


She is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Benham father, Gary David Hurst grandparents, Leo and Velma Hendrix, Alfred Phillips, Agnes Holt and Juanita.


Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
