Johnie Ray Looney Johnie Ray Looney, resident of Fairfax, passed on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at his home. He was 56 years of age. Johnie was born August 21, 1953 near Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was the son of John Coe Looney and Viola June Moton Looney. He received his formal education in the Ralston Public Schools. In earlier years he had worked in the oil fields. He had served six years in the Oklahoma National Guard, Fairfax unit. His enjoyments included gardening, working in the yard and his favorite Bassett hound, Daisy Mae. He is survived by his son, Johnie Bernell Looney of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his longtime companion, C.R. Daniels and her grandchildren that Johnie Ray helped raise, Jared Gibson, Sasha Sissy Gibson, Lee Bowman and Chase Bowman. He also leaves behind 5 brothers, Ronnie Looney, Osage, Oklahoma, Wade Looney, of Ralston, Darryl Looney, Fairfax, Jimmy Looney, of Ralston, and Kenneth Wayne Moton, of Muskogee; 4 sisters, Donna Lopez, Newark, California, Freda Nixon, Oklahoma City, Christine Terry, of Ralston, and Geraldine Brien, of Ralston; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Full Gospel Church of Fairfax with Pastor Lewis Bernard presiding. Interment will be in the Ralston Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. Casket bearers will be Ronnie Looney, Wayne Terry, Jim Hudson, Jimmer Brien, Billy Terry and Johnny Terry. Honorary casket bearers will be Dale Nixon, Dale Price, Rick Kenny, John Roach, Travis Turney and Todd Gibson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfax Full Gospel Church, in care of Pastor Lewis Bernard, 300 South 2nd, Fairfax, Oklahoma 74637.
