John Lockett

John Allen Lockett, longtime Fairfax OK resident, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at his home. He was 57. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 27, at Fairfax Cemetery with Rev. George Weston officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home, Fairfax. Born February 4, 1952 in Victorville, CA, he was the son of Jim and Ann Mathis Lockett. He grew up in Fairfax and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1970. He married Joan Mashburn in 1970. To this union one daughter was born. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Lockett Jones, and grandson, Troy Jones, of Norman; his parents, of Fairfax; sister, Jill Carey and husband Jim of Tulsa; brother, Jeff Lockett and wife Shannon of Fairfax; and brother, James Scott Lockett and wife Karen of Fairfax. The family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Fairfax Alumni Association, PO Box 427, Fairfax, OK, 74637, co Jami Burgess.
