Jerry Bell

Jerry Michael Bell, Fairfax resident, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at his home. He was 62.

Jerry was born on August 12, 1948 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Arthur Capper Bell and Florence Lorraine Wood Bell. Jerry graduated from Fairfax High School in 1968. He later enlisted in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged from military service, he worked with computers and was a computer programmer for Ardmore Data Processing Company for several years. Jerry was married to Kathleen Ann McCormick on September 15, 1976 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Jerry enjoyments were working with computers, growing tomatoes and in his younger years, fishing.

He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy Bell and wife, Mary Ellen and Larry Bell nephews, Kevin Bell, Darwin Bell and Tim Bell niece, Autumn Bell as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents wife, Kathleen Bell and stepfather, Homer Jones.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pappin Cemetery, northeast of Pawhuska.
