James Douglas Doug Lytle, lifelong resident of the Fairfax community, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He was 42. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weston presiding. Interment will follow at the Wann Family Cemetery, South of Fairfax. Doug was born November 30, 1966 in Fairfax, the son of James Allen Lytle and Wanda Jean McKinney Lytle. He attended the Fairfax Public Schools. He had worked a various times in construction work and had also been employed with DP Tank Company of Fairfax. Doug enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and had a love for animals. He also loved children and was a baby sitter for many family members and friends. Doug also had a passion for reading and was a big fan of OU football. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lytle, of Fairfax; his maternal grandmother, Juanita McKinney, of Fairfax; three children, Tasha Lynette Lytle, of Tulsa, Justin Allen Lytle and Jamie Lee Lytle, both of Fairfax; two sisters, Sheila Whitten and Holly Lytle, and one brother, Brian Lytle, all of Fairfax; three nieces, Hayley, Megan and Madison; his girlfriend, Jandi Rios and her grandchild, Elijah Wilkey. He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Ulyess Pauline Lytle and his maternal grandfather, Ted McKinney. Casket bearers will be C.J. Kennedy, Caleb Kennedy, Teddy McKinney, Jason McKinney, Roosevelt Windom and Brian Kanawite. Honorary casket bearers will be Talons Goode, Marvin Brant and Rocky Overlease.
