Geraldine Couch

Geraldine Alice Louise Couch, member of the Osage Tribe and lifelong resident of Fairfax, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Fairfax Hospital. She was 73.



Geraldine was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma on January 26, 1937 the daughter of William Bear and Helen Morton Bear. She grew up in Fairfax and graduated from Fairfax High School in1955. She was employed at the First State Bank in Fairfax for 36 years. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother and her presence will be greatly missed.



She is survived by her sons, Tom Couch, Oklahoma and Bob Couch and wife, Robin one grandson, Bobby Couch, Jr. of Tulsa and sister, Mildred Lunsford of Fairfax as well as numerous nephews and nieces.



She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlene Bear.



The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at HunsakerWooten Funeral Home Chapel. Andrew Johnson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma will officiate.
