Gary Graves, resident of Bartlesville, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. He was 56.
Gary was born on November 11, 1955 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Howard Graves and Mary Holloway Graves. He attended Fairfax schools, and had been a lifelong area resident, having spent the past two years of his life in Bartlesville.
His enjoyments included a love for horses, rodeos, truck driving, spending time with his family, laughing and making others laugh. He also loved the state of Colorado.
Gary is survived by his fiance, Beverly Luthy and their daughter, Jasmine Graves, of Bartlesville daughter, Jessica Dilbeck of Guthrie son, Jerrod Greenleaf of Skiatook stepdaughter, Crystal Payne of Aurora, Missouri stepson, Chris Culver of Ponca City two sisters, Jo Graves of Fairfax and Victoria Graves of Tucson, Arizona two brothers, Larry Graves of Fairfax and Simon Graves of Stillwater several grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Grayhorse Community Center. Father Bruce Brosnahan and Mogrie Lookout will officiate. Interment will follow at Grayhorse Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Larry Graves, Simon Graves, Sonny Graves, Josh Graves, King Bowman, and Henry Cook.
