Everett married the love of his life, Sandra Kay Royster on December 16, 1971 in Fairfax, Oklahoma. They established their first home in Ralston and continued living in Ralston the remainder of his days. In 1989, he opened the Pawnee office, adding his mom to the work crew. He was a hardworking dedicated father to his children.

He was active as a basketball referee traveling around the state in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Everett taught the intermediate boys Sunday School class at Ralston First Baptist Church where he was a member.
