Everlian Bell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Everlian Bell, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2025, at the age of 87. Everlian was born on July 24, 1937, to Clara Ross (Crosby) and Willie Brown in St. Joseph, Louisiana. She married George Bell on December 10, 1954, and together they had twelve children. A woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith, she dedicated her life to her family, her church, and the values she held dear. Everlian was the matriarch of her family, a guiding light whose wisdom and love were cherished by all who knew her. She had an extraordinary ability to make every person feel special and welcomed, whether through her warm smile, her home-cooked meals, or her kind words.

Throughout her life, Everlian exemplified the virtues of compassion, love, and humility. She served as a cook at Fairfax Manor for more than 30 years, known for her generosity and service to others. Everlian’s unwavering faith in God guided her life, and she inspired many with her resilience and spirit. Everlian loved spending time with her family and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Everlian is survived by her children: Arthur Lee Foster of Lansing, MI, Henry Frye of Fairfax, OK, Shirley Burt of Little Elm, TX, Isiah Bell of Copperas Cove, TX, Tommy Bell of Lewisville, TX, Clara Coates (John) of Copperas Cove, TX, Linda Bell of Bartlesville, OK, Connie Webb (Dannye) of Plano, TX, Debra Bell of Lewisville, TX and Markus Bell (Shannon) of Aubrey, TX; 22 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Bell, children Cornelius Bell and George Bell Jr. and siblings Arthur, Jimmy, and Willie Crosby.

 Viewing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 at Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home 201 N. 4th St., Fairfax, OK. 74637 from 10am to 8pm and Friday from 10am to 12pm.

A celebration of Everlian’s life will be held at First Osage Baptist Church, 236 S. Main St., Fairfax, OK, 74637 Friday, February 7, 2025 at 2pm. Family and friends are invited to honor her memory and the wonderful life she lived. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Fairfax City Cemetery, 600 S. 8th St., Fairfax, Ok.

Pall bearers will be Douglas Foster, Tony Bell, Terrell Frye, Christopher Bell, Jordan Bell, Joshua Webb, Justyn Bell, and Jarrett Bell. Honorary pall bearers will be Joe Perry, John Perry, James Perry, Mack Perry, Carl Neal, AJ Neal, Lonzo Crosby and Charles Crosby.

Everlian’s family wants to thank all those who have offered prayers and support during this time of loss. Forever in our hearts, Everlian’s legacy will continue through the love she gave and the lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
