Ella Allen

August 12, 1949 — November 7, 2018

Ella Louise (Yandell) Allen, 69, former Fairfax resident, known to friends as "Louise," passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Louise was born on August 12, 1949, in Pawhuska, Okla. to parents, Argus and Halla (Morgan) Yandell, while her mother was here visiting on vacation at the time. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California until as a teenager, in 1965, the family moved to Fairfax, Okla. She met Dennis R. Allen at the Tallchief Theater and they were soon married. The couple began their family here in Fairfax.

Her enjoyments included: watching OU and Dallas Cowboy football, gardening, cooking, and her dogs. She is survived by a very special four legged friend, Maddox whom she loved very much. She was very artsy and could often be found working on some sort of craft project.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters; Kim (Allen) Ford of Van Alstyne, Texas, Charity (Allen) Morgan and husband Ken of Broken Arrow, Okla.; son, D.R. Allen and his girlfriend Jacqueline Murphy of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Eileen (Yandell) Roe and husband Mundy of Edmond, Okla., and Karen (Yandell) Jackson and husband Chris of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Abby Ford, Katie Ford, Sydney Ford, Bella Morgan, Kenna Morgan, Keely Morgan, Samantha Barnett, Kenny Morgan, Taylor Morgan, and Jessica McGahan along with niece and nephews, Jill Jackson Curtis, Ron Yandell, Jake Jackson, and Kyle Roe; numerous cousins and dear friends.

Louise rejoins her loved ones in heaven including parents, Argus Dewey (A.D.) Yandell and Halla Mae (Morgan) Yandell Garner; step-father, Virgil "Jiggs" Garner; four brothers, Paul Dean Yandell, Argus Wayne Yandell, Donald Yandell, and Tony Yandell; one sister, Shelia (Yandell) Meisenheimer; and two nephews, Wayne Yandell and Kasey Roe.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Hunsaker-Wooten Chapel in Fairfax with Bill Lytle officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot next to her brother at the Fairfax City Cemetery.

Pall bearers are Chris Jackson, Mundy Roe, Kyle Roe, Ken Morgan, and Bob Jackson.
