David Glenn Megee was born to proud parents Jessie Edgar Megee and Dorthie Lea (Mason) Megee on June 16, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He passed from this life at the age of 68 on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home in Fairfax, Okla. Cremation has taken place under the care of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
Growing up in the Osage with his two siblings, David attended grade school at McCord before moving on to East Junior High in Ponca City. From there he attended Po-Hi in Ponca graduating with the class of 1967. After his school days, he joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Brass, N.C. where he repaired helicopters during the Vietnam conflict.
He was self-employed, spending his days buying and selling items at Auctions. In his spare time, he loved going to area lake parks, playing Christian songs on his guitar and singing.
Survivors include a sister, Laverne Megee of Silverton, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Kathy (Condit) Megee of Ponca City, Okla.; close friends and other extended family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Megee and Dorthie (Mason) (Megee) Spears and older brother, Dean Megee.
