Danny Ray Hazen, 82, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 19, 2025. He was born in Fairfax, OK on October 17, 1942 to Jack Hazen and Marie Carter (Dooling). In the early 1960s, he served in the Oklahoma National Guard. He enjoyed watching football, but he loved to play it even more. In high school, he played football for the Fairfax Red Devils. Being struck by a car in his late teens nearly cost him his life and the ability to walk; he was a walking miracle. He worked in air conditioning, heating, and control systems for 30 years. He was married to the love of his life, Roberta Hazen (Lesh), on August 18, 1969 in Bartlesville, OK. Danny was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed the great outdoors and working on all kinds of projects. He was a hard worker, but he had a playful spirit as well, and he especially loved to play with his grandchildren.
He is survived by: his wife of 55 years Roberta of Cleveland, OK; son Micky Montgomery and his wife Cindy of Keller, TX; daughters Tiffany Streater and George Bear of Fairfax, OK, and Wendi Marsden of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Coley Morrell Streater, Jacob and Rebecca Montgomery, Lauren Fondo, Nicole D’Avila and her husband Ken, and Jesse Marsden; great-grandchildren Selena and Aurora; sister Loretta Baird and her husband Benny; sisters-in-law Gwen Taylor and Terry Hazen; brother-in-law Ken Roberts, and sister-in-law Connie Hues and her husband Jim; and many nieces and nephews.
