Clifford Shook

Clifford C. Shook, resident of Fairfax, passed July 12, 2015 at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. He was 66 years of age.

Clifford was born January 11, 1949 in Killeen, Texas, the son of Earl M. Shook and Treacel Mae (House) Shook. He attended schools in Lamont and Blackwell, graduating from Blackwell High School. He was married to Marie Yandell in 1968 at Ralston.

He was honorably discharged from the military after serving his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. He was a member of the Fairfax Full Gospel Assembly Church. Clifford's enjoyments included his work and working in the garden.

He is survived by his wife Marie, of the home; six children, Shelly Butler of Mexico, Tammy Holt of Enid, Duane Shook of Texas, Richard Shook of New York, Mike Shook of Fairfax and Jeff Shook of Ponca City; one brother, Rodney Shook of Tulsa and one sister, Doris Newland of Blackwell; and 17 grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Smithson.
