Fairfax

Clara Pat Sparks, born on October 25, 1958, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024. Pat, the youngest of four children, was the cherished daughter of Benjamin and Charlene Johnson. She graduated from Fairfax High School in 1976 and furthered her education by earning a Medical Records Certification from Ponca City VoTech.

Pat devoted over two decades to Fairfax Memorial Hospital, where she was a dedicated and respected member of the medical records team. Her exceptional talents extended beyond her professional life; Pat was a gifted seamstress who created her own clothing and had a lifelong love for sports cars.

In her personal life, Pat was united in marriage to Jose Sparks, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Gabrielle and Farrah Sparks. She took immense joy in cooking, baking, and lavishing affection on her beloved dog, Mia.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Charlene Johnson, and her brothers Nelson and Billy Rae Johnson. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Gabrielle and Farrah Sparks of Oklahoma City; her sister, Carlotta Johnson of Yukon, Oklahoma; and a large extended family including nieces and nephews Hope Jett and husband Ricci, Sabrina Lewis and husband Gordon, Dana Bear, Thomas Tallchief, Nikki Johnson, Benjamin "Beeve" Johnson, Baylee Johnson, Benjamin "Cooper" Johnson, and Raylee Johnson. She is also survived by 14 great-nieces and nephews, as well as a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Pat’s legacy will endure through the warmth and joy she brought to those around her. She will be remembered with love and fondness by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
