Charlene Faye Roberts Kuykendall

Charlene Faye Roberts Kuykendall, resident of Burbank, passed on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 71 years of age.

Charlene was born on October 28, 1942 in Doniphan, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Coleman Roberts and Reva Lee Ollar Roberts. She was married to Gary Neal Kuykendall on February 4, 1960 in Shidler. She was a member of the Burbank First Baptist Church, and served her community in her position as a public school dietary manager. Charlene was a friendly, caring person who enjoyed spending time with her family and had a smile and kind word for everyone she met.

Charlene is survived by three children, Suzy Klinger and husband Gary of Ponca City Jeri Ann Ratliff and husband, Bruce, of Ralston, and Alan Kuykendall of Kaw City grandchildren, Megan Ratliff Stephens, Mason Ratliff, Jordan Klinger Luke, Tiffany Klinger, Nicky Klinger, Bailey Klinger, Bethany Klinger, Reagan Klinger, Terry Klinger, Gage Klinger, Courtney Kuykendall, Tyler Kuykendall, and Trent Kuykendall great grandchild, Rylee Stephens brothers Johnny Roberts and wife, Rosie, of Fort Worth, Texas Don Roberts and wife, Dena, of Fairfax, Oklahoma, Tommy Roberts of Houston, Texas, Ken Roberts and wife, Phyllis, of Burbank, Oklahoma, Lindy Roberts and wife, Judy, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma sisters, Judy Browning and husband, J.W., of Oilton, Oklahoma, Janice McInturf of Ralston, Oklahoma, and Mary Ann Medlin and husband, Rick, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Gary sisters, Clara Ruth Roberts and Carolyn Culp a brother, Charles Tony Roberts and grandson, Jacob Klinger.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Burbank First Baptist Church with Dennis Wildman, Pastor officiating. Casket bearers will be Jackie Culp, Devin Culp, T.J. Alexander, Mason Ratliff, Mike Roberts and Kevin Roberts. Interment will be in the Burbank Cemetery under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Charlene may be made to the Burbank Alumni Association, co Glenna Brock, 913 S. 7th, Ponca City, OK 74601.
