Cecil White

Cecil White, longtime resident of the Fairfax community, passed Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. She was 90 years of age.

Cecil was born March 12, 1920 at rural Fairfax, the daughter of Lorenzo Chapman and Nettie Mae Barnard Chapman. She received her early education in the Fairfax area schools. She was married to Ollie J. White with Mr. White preceding her in death on June 22, 1990.

Cecil was a member of the General Assembly of the Church of the Firstborn. Her enjoyments were fishing and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Tammy Kleinmann and one grandson, Tommy White several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband one son, Ollie Ray White 3 brothers, Jess, Josh and Harold 4 sisters, Lucille, Velma, Dorothy and Nancy.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Fairfax Cemetery with Brother Phillip Pruitt presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
