Our Loving Mother and Nana, Passed away October 5, 2021, at her home in Fairfax OK. Memorial contributions in Cecelia’s memory can be made to Humanity Hospice, 400 East Central Ste 303, Ponca City Ok, 74601. Cecelia Rose Daniels (CR) was born September 26th, 1947, to Edward (Eddie) Daniels and Marguerite (Sissy) Blackbird, she was their only baby.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the First Osage Baptist Church with Pastor Kyle Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfax City cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Grayhorse Chapel. Arrangements are in care of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax, OK.
She grew up in Fairfax her entire life, married Dennis (Denny) Heath in 1967, they had two daughters, Celia Irene, and Dawna Rose. CR became very involved being a homemaker and mother, she took pride in her girls and her community. Other than being a mother when she became “Nana” she loved life.CR was a seasonal employee at the Big Hill Trading Post wrapping presents for Christmas gifts. She enjoyed camping, fishing, lake time, and spending time with her friends. She loved her simple life. She and her husband always looked after other kids needing a place to stay as well as their daughter’s friends a place to stay when they were in need. CR and Denny parted ways early in the year 1990, always loving their girls and grandchildren. Both remained close loving friends. CR later met a friend and partner in 2002, Johnny Ray Looney. They took care of grandchildren and enjoyed their lives together. And again, camped, fished, and had fun.
She is survived by her daughters, Celia Irene Gibson of the home, Dawna Rose, and Mark Bowman of Fairfax. Grandchildren Jared Gibson, Sasha Gibson, Lee Bowman, and Chase Bowman. Great-Grandchildren, Benton Welch, Hunter Gibson, Raileigh Gibson.
Proceeded in death were her parents Eddie and Sissy Daniels, her first cousin Butch Fish, who she fondly called “Brother,” Denny Heath, and Johnny Ray Looney.
