Betty Irene Walker

Betty Irene Walker, resident of Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Oklahoma City. She was eightyfour years of age.

Betty was born April 29, 1927 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the daughter of Kiefer Walls and Rosie Ethel Powers Walls. She grew up in and around the Fairfax community and went on to pursue a career as a nurses aide.

Betty is survived by her sons, Billy Don Thornesberry of Billings, Oklahoma and Tommy Thornesberry brother, Oliver Walls nephew Edward Cramer and wife, Doris of Shidler, Oklahoma grand nephew, Donald Ellis of Fairfax dear friends Royce and Kenny Shieldnight of Fairfax many members of the Walls and Kerr families and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Curtis Ritter.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Fairfax Cemetery, with George Weston, Pastor officiating. Services are under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
