Barry Tallchief

Barry Allan Tallchief, age 51, of Fairfax, Oklahoma died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January, 25, 2016 at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home.

Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home.

Barry Allan Tallchief was born January 3, 1965 in Wichita, Kansas to Mose Henry and Frances Earlene (Dunn) Tallchief. Barry grew up in Wichita, Kansas and attended schools in Wichita. Barry ran a lawn service and was later a truck driver before owning and operating TC Transportation. Barry loved to ride his Harley.

Survivors include his father Mose Tallchief of Wichita, Kansas; two children of Fort Scott, Kansas; two step brothers Michael Combs and Karl Williams both of Wichita; one step sister Mary Lou Fellows of Fort Meyer, Florida and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, step mother Dorothy, step brother Don Williams and step sister Sandy Rossiter.
