Anita Jean Cruzan was born Monday, June 21, 1954 to Kenneth Virgil and Billy Jean (Williams) Cruzan. She was welcomed home by her older sister Joan. Growing up she lived most of her life in Clinton where she attended school as well.
She had worked for Davis Sanitation as a garbage collector and later assisted her companion James in their own trash hauling business. After retiring she spent her time spoiling her seven grandchildren as much as possible. She was a caring and loving person who had a heart of gold. Her whole life was about her family and her fondness for her numerous four-legged family members.
Always a big part of her daily life, her love for life included her animals and pets. A natural outdoorsy person she loved spending time outside in the fresh air walking in the countryside at home, riding her horses, feeding her cattle, caring for her chickens, or playing with the sheep and goats. She loved them all dearly.
Today she survived by her three cherished sons, Bobby Miler and fiancée Tammy of Illinois, Kenneth Cruzan and fiancée Josie of Illinois, and Robert James ‘Jimmy’ Miller of Kentucky; seven adored grandchildren, Hannah Miller, Kari Lloyd, Wyatt Cruzan, Maddy Cruzan, Kyle Miller, Kelley Miller, and Alley Miller; and one much loved great grandson. Further survived by her brother, Dick Cruzan and family, sister Beverly and husband Mike Floyd and their family as well as loving companion James Combs of the home. Anita rejoins in heaven her parents, Kenneth Cruzan and Billy Cruzan-Beach, and a sister Joan McVay.
